Behance for Anyone?

After seeing countless links to work on Behance.net I decided to see what all the fuss was about. After recieving my invitation I had to create a few projects to go in my portfolio.

Sadly I have only had a handful of ‘appreciations’ and most of them are from Uni friends.

I’m starting to get the feel it is just a place for creatives to try and grab some free compliments, showing off their best work. Maybe I’m just bitter. I’d like to hear from anyone who has had any real help or seen any benefit from using Behance.
